Annandale Multifamily is a study in graphic confidence. Built around a bold black-and-white palette softened by natural wood and textured neutrals, every room strikes the balance between statement and restraint.
THE BRIEF
The client wanted a model that would photograph with impact and live with ease. The design needed a strong visual identity that could carry across marketing materials while still feeling like a place someone would genuinely want to come home to.
DESIGN DECISIONS
A large-scale abstract canvas in the living area sets the graphic tone immediately, its bold black strokes anchoring the room while blue glass vessels and layered textiles introduce warmth. The kitchen island is styled as a gathering point, with carefully chosen objects that suggest a life in progress rather than a staged scene.
In the bedroom, a trio of black-and-white graphic prints above the headboard continues the monochromatic thread, while open shelving and a geometric lumbar pillow keep the space from feeling austere. The dresser vignette pairs a sculptural lamp with a round mirror and abstract art, proving that every surface deserves intention.
THE RESULT
Annandale proves that a strong graphic identity and livability are not at odds. The model reads as both editorially sharp and genuinely inviting, the kind of space that stops you in a listing and convinces you in person.
