RACHEL
SEPULVEDA
Rachel Sepulveda is a Maryland-based interior designer and art curator whose practice sits at the intersection of architecture, fine art, and lived experience. With an eye trained across both gallery walls and residential spaces, she approaches every project as an opportunity to compose environments that feel simultaneously considered and effortless.
Her work spans luxury residential model units, hospitality interiors, and bespoke art installations, each shaped by a conviction that the objects we surround ourselves with carry meaning, and that the best spaces make that meaning visible without ever announcing it.
Operating out of Maryland, Rachel has built her practice around a body of work that spans 75+ curated art packages and 50+ on-site installations, developing a vocabulary that draws equally from modernist restraint and the expressive freedom of contemporary art. Her signature model units, including Murabella, SC Multifamily Model, Carrington Multifamily, Overlook, Tortoise One, The Watt, Jacksonville, Southern Maryland Multifamily Clubhouse, and Annandale Multifamily, have set benchmarks for how developers communicate lifestyle to prospective residents.
PHILOSOPHY
ART LEADS SPACE
The artwork comes first. Every furniture selection, every material choice, every lighting decision is made in service of the art, not as an afterthought to fill a wall. Art is the anchor from which the entire room radiates outward.
INTENTION OVER TREND
Trends are a conversation about the moment. Great spaces are a conversation about the person. Rachel's work is guided not by what is fashionable but by what is true to the life the space is meant to support, with enduring choices over ephemeral ones.
CURATION AS CONNECTION
A curated space is not a showroom. It is a story told in objects, textures, and light. The goal is always connection: between the resident and their environment, between the art and its context, between beauty and function.
